Rapid T/QRS rises
Summary
A 24 year old G3 P2 in gestation weeks 41+2 with a normal pregnancy is admitted to labour ward with SROM since 1 hour and irregular contractions. In 2001 SVD 3240 g, 2003 SVD 3420 g.
- 23.49 VE: Cx fully effaced, 4 cm dilated, clear liquor. FSE applied and ST Analysis initiated.
- 01.08 Patient is using nitrous oxide.
- 03.05 VE: Cx fully effaced, 7 cm dilated, vx -1.
- 03.15 Epidural sited on maternal request.
- 04.15 Physician decides to perform an emergency caesarean section.
- 04.36 Emergency caesarean section. Babygirl delivered 2 760 g.
Apgar score: 8,9,10.

Comment
The T/QRS ratio is increasing rapidly and a steady rise in the crosses can be noted in the tracing. The magnitudes of the ST Events are also increasing.
